gear ratio problem on a 96 jeep cherokee sport

gear ratio problem on a 96 jeep cherokee sport
there is no tag on my jeep cherokee to tell me what my gear ratio is on my rear axel. some people have told me to lift the rear tires and move it one full turn and watch my drive shaft to see how many turns it takes to a full turn of my wheel but the shaft is only turning twice. the axel only comes in 3.55 and 4.10.am i doing something wrong? any help would be nice oh yeah its a sport model automatic
