Default Gear install cost? Ballpark

I searched but didn't come up with anything...how much should I be paying for 4.56's into my dana 30 and C 8.25?

I'm supplying the gears/overhaul kit

they supply the oil, axle seals, labor

Local shop said $875 to 890 with above scenario.

Thanks!

400ish per axle is normal for labor.

I charge $100 per axle, but I won't do them under a rig. $150 for gears and a locker.

The local Jeep shop near me charges $300 per axle if you supply the parts.

Local shop told me 1300 for 4.56 in my Dana 30 and 8.25, that's them supplying everything.

1300 for them supplying everything isn't that bad if they supply everything. 450-500 for the ring and pinion set, carrier for the Dana 30, minor install kits, gear lube, and set up.

Both. Even a simple D30 install is a pain in the keester when you're laying on a cold floor and have to remove the steering in orderto get access to the diff.

If I had a lift I'd do them under the rig.
