So I’m a bit new to XJ’s but I recently noticed that on my newly purchased automatic 1998 Cherokee Sport it makes an uncomfortable grinding sound when it is in reverse. It kinda sounds like it isn’t quite in gear or something. It’s fine in reverse when I just barely touch the gas or not at all, but when I press the gas a bit more it makes the sound. It kinda sounds like it’s coming from front/below the drivers seat but I can’tg tell for sure. Everything else works great. Someone help?!? Transmission fluid and differential fluids just changed. Also the Jeep comes with the stock Up Country Package so it has a LSD. Any input would be helpful! Thanks!
