3300rpm is hardly WAAAAAA lol. But yeah obviously a higher(relative) RPM such as this in the 4L for extended periods will eventually take its toll but I still think it would have to be higher(4000 range) or something else be wrong(such as poor maintenance) before anything goes wrong.
A properly running 4L will be fine at 3300RPM for extended(hour or two) periods of time.

3300 rpms is way to high for extended driving. we only rev to 5200.

and again i have 32s 4:10s and roll down the highway happy at 70-75 forget formulas and math 4:88 ARE TOO MUCH our 6 cyls are happy at 2000rpm....i had 4:10s in my wrangler with 35s and a 5speed and it was great if you over gear it first gear is useless and overdrive (5th in sticks) will feel like drive (4th) on the highway

It is easy to figure for 75-80 just plug the numbers in
75x4.56x336/35x.79 = 2594rpms with an AX15 I live in the mountains so I need a little lower gears than some of you guys that drive in a little flatter area. So this is a great gear set up for me. Mostly though I like the better crawl ratio I get with the lower gear sets.

Well sorry about that someone asked why 65 and not 75-80 so I gave them the answer. As for as 1st gear being useless with low gears, have you ever heard of rock crawling. Everyone doesn't live where it is flat, and they can use the lower gears.
