You don't know what you are talking about!!

65 x 4.88 x 336 / 33 x .79 = 2551RPMs isn't going to blow an engine!!

65 x 4.88 x 336 / 35 x .79 = 2405 is good for that size.

65 x 4.56 x 336 / 33 x .79 = 2384 RPMs good for that size tire.

65 x 4.56 x 336 / 35 x .79 = 2247PMs Great for the 35s

I dont think 3300 RPMS would blow a motor either but I'd certainly want it lower.

The chart is correct if you do not have an overdrive transmission. It says right above the chart a manual transmission with a final drive gear of 1:1. The AW4 is either .79:1 or .75:1

3300rpm is hardly WAAAAAA lol. But yeah obviously a higher(relative) RPM such as this in the 4L for extended periods will eventually take its toll but I still think it would have to be higher(4000 range) or something else be wrong(such as poor maintenance) before anything goes wrong.

A properly running 4L will be fine at 3300RPM for extended(hour or two) periods of time.

Who drives 65 on the freeway? Shouldn't you figure for 75 or 80?

Good point. I used to have a 97 Wrangler 4.0 and that things topped off at about 75 just from the drag from the wind.

that chart doesnt use the correct final drive ratio....it uses a 1.1, which is like 4th gear on a 5speed. its not correct for an ax-15 or aw4 equipt jeep

it needs to use .79 or .85 for the ax15

this chart helps if you run a ax15
