Default Gauges not working

I have a 97 Sport with 4.0l auto 4wd that the gauges aren't working. The lights in the gauge, turn signal and high beam indicator work. But there is no odometer. I pulled the cluster and cleaned the connector and also tried to run the self test but no response. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Eli.

Oh and I have checked the fuses.

That's wild. I have been chasing and fixing issues on this thing for a month and a half now, I'm about ready to burn it to the ground lol

They have. Also tried to get it to self test but no luck. I need to test my cluster but I don't know how.

Oh and the jy wants $75 for the one they have, I just can't see paying that much for a cluster that sells for $20 everywhere else

Are you pressing the odometer stick down then turning the key to on and then letting go of the odometer stick?
