When I am driving every once in a while my tach and speedometer will stop working and the air bag light and engine light come on then the odometer will read " no bus" just wondering what would cause the issue. Its an 2000 xj sport with the police package.

 

The panel electrical connection is a known problem on the late XJs. My '98 has done the same thing. The quick fix is pushing the panel back into the dash to improve the connection.

The more involved fix is to take apart the dash, pull the panel, clean the connections and apply some dielectric grease, then reinstall.
