i have a 99 xj 4.0 np231 ax15.
Being that its a manual i need a tachometer!! and i have to dummy light cluster. if i find or order the one with real gauges is it just a cluster swap or do i have to install different sensors?
THANKS! ~Caleb

For the later models, I believe that the sensors are all there and the same PN light vs gauge. Should be a direct swap and really simple. 97-01 cluster is what you need.

Just completed the swap. For 97+ there is no need for sensor swaps. Just take apart the dash (really really easy!) and pull the old cluster out and put the new one in.
