Default Gauge Cluster

I have to replace my fuel gauge, and as I'm thinking about it, I thought, Is there anyway to spruce up the boring Jeep Gauge cluster? I have an 00 Cherokee Sport. Any suggestions?

Or do what I'm doing. I'm buying a set of gauges and am just modifying the original cluster housing to hold the new gauges. And I am running as many new sending units as I can. I think it will look very very nice.

yea, that was my first thought, but all new gauges could get pricey, and then, of course, the sendin units's can get to be a real pain in the ****....or are they? How difficult is it to change em? Because the one thing I HATE doing in any truck is anything involving lots of wiring.

It does get kinda pricey, however I think the hook-ups are kinda easy. The coolant and oil sending units are simple screwed into a point on the engine (coolant= rear of cylinder head; oil=passenger-side of engine if Im correct) and then plugged into the gauge. All gauges are grounded through the cluster housing if I remember correctly. The speedo has a cable running from the bellhousing? to the gauge itself, as does the tach if I'm right. I think the hardest would be the fuel gauge sending unit.
