Default Which gaskets get sealant?

I will be putting my engine back together this week. I need to know which gaskets get sealant and which dont. There is the manifold gasket, cyl head gasket, thermostat gasket, and valve cover gasket. And whats the best sealant to use?

I thought absolutely no sealant was to be used on the head gasket?

As for the intake/exhaust gasket, I used the Permatex Copper spray stuff with really good results. Just give a quick spray to each side.

Valve cover, I used red permatex sealant (high temp). No leaks, and this was done about 2 years ago.

No sealant or RTV on a head gasket, install it dry. I try to use as little RTV as I can and only put it where the factory put it when the engine was built. Slathering everything with silicone can cause problems and looks bad.
