ok guys i think i might have found my problem with my mpg. I was up under my jeep looking for the 02 sensors when i found a crimp/ dent in my exhaust. I took multiple pictures of the dent and the entire pipe because i would like to know where i can get a replacement pipe. I took pictures and it is very hard to take pictures laying under my jeep but here they are.
this is my first time uploading pics also, so it would be great if someone would tell me how to upload them straight into the forum.
first picture headers to pipe, 2nd headers to pipe, 3rd the dent right which is right after the first picture, 4th the dent, 5th the dent, 6th the pipe coming down, 7th the pipe running to the cat, 8th just before the cat. 9th the cat, 10th random picture
the reason i took so many pictures of the pipe and not the dent was so yall could get the best idea of where the dent is.

is this enough damage to be causing my bad mpg? and does anyone know a good website to get a replacement pipe? cheap?!!!
what caused this?

That bent was not from you wheeling it, it was something from the factory. It is annoying becuase mine has it as well and I just thought the PO did something then I started to look into it and it was a factory thing. I am also looking at getting a complete exahaust to try and let the enitre thing breath a whole lot better. I know this isnt much help, but I am just letting you know it came from the factory this way.
did you try changing the fuel filter? i just changed mine after changing the air filter and noticed a dramatic performance upgrade. I also seem to be getting better gas milage though i won't know for sure how much of a difference until my next tank of gas. I was at around 12-13 mpg

I've done the complete tune up, o2 sensors. air filters and I'm still getting around 12.
I'm thinking of replacing the entire exhaust to include the cat to see if that helps

My motor is stock with 180k miles.
My exhaust is stock but for a flomaster muffler(which had no impact on power or mpg).
My "intake" is stock but for a drop in k'n'n (fram when off road)
I've never touched sea foam or any such treatment.
I run quality cap/rotor/plugs/wires/coil/O2's... none of which are hocus pocus marketed.
I run 87 octane containing ethenol as standard here in Phoenix.
I have 2.5" lift on 33" mud tires, a bunch of armor, cut up fenders and lots of body damage.
I run 4.56 gears.
My rig is my daily driver and I drove it 440miles round trip every week for the last year.
Around town I routinely get over 18mpg.
On the highway at 65mph I knock down 19.3-19.8mpg (occassionlly over 20mpg). At 72mph I get 18.5-18.8mpg. Highway miles are in the mountains, not flat land.
