Default 4" lift control arms

I am going to be installing a 4" lift on my girlfriends jeep today and I've never installed anything below 6" lifts. I am wondering if the lower control arms have to be replaced for a 4" lift or if you can get away with just using the factory ones? This jeep is mainly a DD and will not be wheeled hardly at all.

i got 3" lift kit with longer control arms, the axle got all outta wack taking the old ones off now i cant get them threaded on. Pain in my ***! but im pretty sure anything bigger then 3" needs control arms and possibly a TC drop
