I was wondering if there was a fix for the gas gauge floating so much. I ran out of gas between a 1/4 and e anyone have this same probmem

 

Mine won't show over 1/4 and after 10 miles the light comes on. I keep adding gas to make sure I don't run out.

 

The gas gauge gets its reading from the fuel level sender, which is part of the fuel pump module. It can't be replaced separately from the fuel pump so until you'd like to replace the fuel pump, go by the tripometer for the time being
