Howdy, new to this forum & new owner of a 96 XJ named da hulk. It's more like Gumby right now, but i hope to turn it into a beast one day.At any rate, I'm experiencing noises under the hood on startup &while driving. Sounds like low pitch gargling or something like that.Not sure what it is. So far new fluids,brakes,shocks,gearbox, steering stab.

Also on shutdown the rig rattles a bit. Any ideas what that's all about?

On a different,but related topic-is it true fram oil filters make the rig noisy or isnt jeep friendly. I also was told that mopar oil filters are the way to go. Ideas, comments?
