Default Fusible Link 96 Cherokee??

I was wondering if there is a fusible link going to the ECU, Im not getting singnal to the diagnostic machine from the brain, trying to narrow it down hoping I don't have to replace the brain.

check all of your fuses, (i posted this for someone the other day) i believe in the c1 connector of the pcm, you should have batt power in cavity 22. cavity 31,32 are grounds. c3 connector (i think) cavity 11 should be key on power.

That would be me lol. I checked all the fuses, I had one blown, problem is I was borrowing the light tester, and now the guy is gone for over a week, so I have now way of testing the connectors on the brain and I have no other vehicle so I kinda need to get it running asap.

your don't need a test light, make one a light bulb and some wire,or socket and wire from an old marker light or whatever you have. Can you tell me what fuse was blown?

it was the fuse that controlled the dashboard lights, when you turn the key on the check engine light, break light and all those wern't coming on, replaced the fuse and now they work, but the check engine light still isn't coming on.
