fusible link??

Default fusible link??

i was wondering if my 90 xj has a fuxible link from the alt going back to the battery?? I'm gonna replace both battery cables and was wondering if i need to get a fusible link or just run new wiring?

Yes, it do. Every vehicle I've ever worked on that was made sometime later than 1950 has had some variety of fuse there (alternator or generator.)

Yes, you should replace it if you're going to replace the lead. If you want a "kit" approach, check out my site.
