Fuse keeps burning out.

Default Fuse keeps burning out.

I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport, and I just put in a Sony CDX-GT24 stereo and now that i have it all hooked up, the fuse keeps burning. I dont know if i have the wrong wires connected or what...

i had the same issue with my light bar and there was some bare wire up against the firewall. check the ground?

I agree a bare wire or you might have the power antenna or the memory wire hooked up wrong.. Make sure you do not have a bare wire touching another one...

now that i think about it, there were two blue wires that were not connected to anything, but there was no metal showing, they were still covered with the rubber....

Normally the blue wire is a switch power for an extenal amp a. maybe the antenna. I would tape or put a small wirenut to be sure

now if its not the blue wires, and i have no bare wires, what could it be?

did you use a harness, or just hack and tap(e)?

are you using the correct black wire for ground? I have 2 black wires one slightly larger than the other the larger one is the ground and the smaller one is to a speaker.
