Default Fuse box engine bay side of fire wall??

OK I'm tearing down my '92 XJ to put all the electrical into my '96..

Now on the driver side-engine bay area, there is the wires that plug into teh back side of the fuse box.

How on earth do you get that un-plugged?

Are you talking about pulling the whole block out? Theres 4 screws on the inside of the cab. They connect both sides together. Thats on my 85 but should be close.
Or are you talking about after you have the block out? its been awhile so I can't quite remember off hand but I could go pop the hood and look to refresh my memory.

I am trying to rack my brain on what side was the bigger side. Give me a minute to go take a look. I remember it is like 2 boxes that go into each other. It is kinda a pita because every wire has the typical electrical connector on it. U know the ones we crimp on when we do our own wiring. I think I used a big screwdriver to pry it apart but ill brb

Do not pry it.. lol The one in the engine bay goes into the other half. After you pulled the 2 screws I had a buddy hold the inside one and I wiggiled the one in the engine bay. It did eventually come out.

Hope your not a grammer ****.
