so all of a sudden today im listening to the radio and it just shuts off, i realize the power locks also stopped so i check for a blown fuse and the 10A in #9 slot is. so i stick a wire in it so i can have my radio back until i get a new fuse, that works fine until i try to adjust my power mirror, then the micro 20A under the hood blows, so i go and get both of these fuses and now every time i adjust the power mirrors one or both of these blow.

The good news is you have probably identified the culprit.

Since it is only happening when you try to adjust the mirrors, it is probably isolated to the mirror adjustment switches, or the mirror adjustment motor. It is shorting to ground. Allowing full amperage from the battery to go straight to ground. The fuses are doing what they should and blowing. If they didn't it would melt the wires, connectors, and possibly cause a fire.

NEVER replace a fuse with a piece of wire. EVER. Not even temporarily. If/when the wiring overheats without any form of circuit protection (like a fuse), you could be calling the fire department. Ive seen it happen. Not pretty. Same goes for substituting fuses.

You have a short. It must be found, and fixed asap. No shortcuts.

i had 2 inline fuses so after the second blew i didn't bother cuz after that blew i had no protection but whatever the problem was just decided to stop, havent been able to recreate it all day

well whatever the issue was i cant seem to recreate it now
