?Fuel Starvation
I have acquired a 92 Cherokee 4.0 non runner I fitted a new battery, spark plugs cleaned dizzy leads etc changed fuel filter and generally checked all around, and it fired up first time
drove it for 2 weeks then one day just died on the side of the road
. Let it cool down overnight went to the vehicle next day and it fired up first time and then died after 30 seconds
it sound like fuel starvation, I have no access to a fuel pressure guage, but I did pull the fuel pipe off the fuel line and by running the pump their does seem to be plenty of fuel, I have now come down to the only thing I can think of is the fuel pressure regulator has failed, Any of you guys got any ideas.

How does it do if you stay on the gas, does it die with pressure on the pedal. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showth...ght=backfiring, Mine started stumbling and cutting off frequently.
