fuel pump?

fuel pump?
i think my fuel pump may be quitting on me, can it be intermittent? CEL flashes and rear end hop, engine seems to be starved of fuel, any chance it could just be a relay? just tossing around the idea

Haven't even gotten a chance to look. Trying to find somewhere/someone cheap around me to scan it real quick. I'm on a super tight budget at the moment. Which sucks lol.

If your CEL is flashing you should stop running it. Flashing CEL means WARNING! DO NOT DRIVE. It's likely that raw gas is being run thru your engine and into the cat due to a possible 'no spark' condition on one or more cylinders. I'd be willing to bet that your code(s) will indicate O2 sensor and/or a misfire. Raw gas kills a cat pretty quickly.

That is a great deal I can even afford that on my budget.
Get the codes read as soon as you can. Hopefully you will find out what is going on before you cause some real damage. Hopefully you didn't already. Post the codes that they give you and post them exactly as they show on the scanner and we can go from there.
