My sisters 96 cherokee is leaking from the fuel line connecting to the fuel rail and under the manifold where it connects. We cant find the right part and have no clue what to do any suggestions?

Fuel supply tube, part number 52850360 (new part number 52100137AE). $108 from the dealer.
Return tube, part number 52018417. $94.50 from the dealer.
Note that the dealers have run out of parts and Chrysler is not ordering any new parts for the XJ's. They may not be able to get these parts.
Dave's Discount Auto Parts may be able to get them. Phone: 1-855-250-3283
Or FinditParts may be able to locate them.

If you can't find it, make it. It's not difficult to bend & cut tubing. Flaring is another matter but if you have a quality flaring tool, it's not difficult. Most are junk, but you can rent a decent one for a lot less than 100 bucks.

Rubber piece over the hole and a hose clamp (if your stuck, you can't get the part, can't make a new line, can't rent a flaring tool, wanna get going untill you can do one of the mentioned options). Bit of an Outback solution, but will keep you going...

And just how would you slip a rubber piece over the metal fitting?

A photo of where it's leaking (Even one off a website with just an arrow pointing to the spot) would help a lot. On my '94 XJ it started leaking where the fuel line changes from metal to plastic. I just cut a section out and put in a piece of rubber fuel line and hose clamped it. Been running that way for years now.

And I agree with Programbo, even better to get a pic from the OP's actual issue location(s)....and while we're at it, maybe Programbo can get a pic of hís solution as well, which seems to be holding out for a few years. So we get a few ideas and its all gonna be fun.
(In the meantime I'll go and have a sleep, since I just finished a nightshift fixing up people).
Happy snapping, don't disappoint me!

I cut the remaining nylon tubing off the steel fuel lines, and repaired it with a section of 1/4" high-pressure fuel injection hose (make sure you use fuel-injection hose that's rated for higher fuel pressures)

There is also another short piece of nylon fuel tubing down on the frame, just under where the driver's footwell is, with another quick-disconnect there.
Make sure there is no stress on the fuel line at this point also..............

You can do as the previous poster did and just run the fuel line as shown which will get you moving. I've replaced sections of metal or plastic many times with the high pressure rubber fuel line and hose clamps on a number of vehicles in my time and never had a problem. The rubber line is fairly flexible so will make the curve with no trouble.
Here's basically what mine looks like (I was going to take a photo but the wind chill was below zero today so I said screw it)

I went to the junkyard and got another section of the stock fuel line from the top yellow line up to the fuel rail that way I kept the hard line for the curved section. I then cut it again at the lower yellow line and put my section of rubber hose in this area so I just had the rubber line in a completely straight area.

I've got the same set up basically-working fine and really easy when you have to remove the rail. Should have been like that from factory-those quick connects are anything but quick when they leak!
