I think what he meant was once it's fixed there are no plans to trail it. I'd wheel it as is though. 
also wanted to mention the obvious but make sure you get that leaky gas tank out o the area before welding!

Thank you, like I told CheyenneK5 that was the first thing I did was to remove the tank and let everything dry out...but, it never hurts to state the obvious, sometimes those are the things that should be stated the most.

I have had a chance. I haven't taken pictures yet. My welding is functional but usually very ugly. I used two pieces of angle iron on each of the lower corners of the frame rail.
