Just got done putting a block heater in the jeep and i took (tried to take) it around the block to make sure the colling system was burped. Well, i got about half way and i noticed the temp guage approaching the red, so i threw it in nuetral and shut it off to coast onto the side street because i didnt want to overheat my motor that only has about 200 miles on the rebuild. Now there is no fuel pressure at the rail...? The pump is fairly new and you can hear it prime up normally, but there is no pressure at the rail. What happened? Any help or advice would be great because this is my dd.

????Got voltage at the resistor? I don't know how to check the pressure regulator, (that diaphragm deal on the rail). Vac line connected to that?
The resistor is ceramic, by the air cleaner, bat power goes to the front, rear wire goes to the pump. It can be by-passed and your pump will be loud. (in case that helps)

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I figured it out. If i let the pump prime up, and then go check for pressure, there was none. But if i pressed the check valve while i had some one turn the key, then it spewed gas. I also heard something that sounded like air rushing, so i kinda thought it was the fuel regulator. So, for everyone that might run into this problem, here is some info about my jeep: i have a renix jeep with a high output intake/exhaust manifold along with the fuel rail and 703 injectors on a 4.7 stroker. With that said, i have the high output regulator, and when i looked at it i noticed that the little bracket thingy that the regulator goes into was bent so the bracket was tight, but the regulator had slid out slightly and (i think) it was letting air in the system. I dont know if this was just a coincidence, or shutting the motor off and coasting pushed it over the edge, but thanks for the reply any way.
