Hello all. I searched around this site and did not find the info I needed maybe I overlooked it. I want to change out the original fuel injectors on my 2000 XJ with the 4.0 engine. I would prefer new, over refurbished and I am interested in a possible upgrade. Where should I be looking to buy and what manufacturer is best. Thanks a lot.

No luck yet. All I am finding is the ***** crap or Standard Company auto parts.

 

Clegg Engines sells a set of 24lb injectors. Would get a bored over throttle body too. theres a guy on here who machines them.

 

Is a bored throttle body worth it? Or was it the throttle body spacers that were all the rage and really did nothing.

Weren't dodge neon injectors the way to go for an upgrade because they were 4 hole?

 

The clegg injectors are 6 hole, the bigger throttle body is more responsive. I have them on a stock engine with a little bit of port matching, cold air intake, banks header, no cat, thrush rattler muffler and it sounds mean. built a stroker but havent had the time to put it in yet.

I'd recommend K Suspension's injectors. The 4 port injectors provided the best overall gains while on a dyno.
