Fuel Guage not showing correct

Fuel Guage not showing correct
Gday all
I have a 99 XJ Cherokee 2.5 turbo diesel that the fuel gauge is playing up and it says i have half tank and then runs out .I do carry spare fuel but its a pain in the ***..can you get to the fuel sender easy,on these models ,or is this a fault else where

It sound like your sending unit is just out of adjustment. Since you said you can get to easy try to adjust it before you start spending money on anything else.
