Default Fuel guage

Is there any way to adjust reading of the fuel guage. My Jeep will run out of fuel two marks for empty.

sounds like the float is getting stuck you have to remove the fuel pump and make sure its not sticking

Default Fuel Pump

Jeep installed a new fuel pump when it died on me out of town. I had a problem with my jeep back in the spring, it would run when it wanted to and I think the problem came about when I reset the ecm, or it could be the new fuel pump.

the fuel pump is different than the sending unit from the gas gauge the float looking thing in the pic is for the gauge that could be going bad

^^^x2 they could have replaced the pump and maybe even damaged the sending unit in the process maybe bent the float arm or something

Bend the float rod or replace the float if bad.

I'd take it to the stealership and complain before attempting anything. If you say the right things chances are they'll fix whatever they broke for free.

mines the oppsite of yours. if i fill it to the brim it reads a notch under full, which is definitly better than your situation.

This is exactly how mine is. I can top it off til there is gas virtually in the filler neck and it still won't show full. But I agree, this is much, much better than the alternative.
