So I come out of the store and my 94 Jeep won't start...doesn't click doesn't do anything. Checked battery first...fine, I knew the starter was acting up (already a replacement from a wrecker) so replace it with one I knew was working. Still did not solve the problem. Thought NSS...bypassed by splicing B and C wires on Trans side of wire harness...still nothing! Strange thing is both my fuel gauge and my oil pressure gauge are flipped right over beyond max. there is still not so much as a "click" when key is turned over.
Anyone seen this before?
Should also mention just engine has just been swapped out professionally for another 94 4.0L with 123K on it.

The symptoms you have usually lead to a bad or misadjusted NSS. It could also be a faulty engine starter relay. If both are good, you will need to do some electrical testing to find the problem.

Thought about things last night over a "smoke" and realized I spliced the wires coming off the trans NSS...not the wires leading TO the NSS. gonna give that fix a go first...
Thx for all the suggestions!
