does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on my 2000 jeep 4.000 litre

It's part of the sending unit assembly. you have to drop the tank to get to it. (or cut an access panel in the rear of the cargo area )

Hmm I was curious about this too... Never took a look under there i just figured it was in the same spot as my 95/96/93/94 lol...

So you guys are saying it's NOT an inline filter like on the older xjs/zjs? I have a 00 too...

I wish it was but they are in the tank on the later model XJ's.

its true...they are on the top of the pump assembly.. I recently replaced my whole assembly. Its not too difficult...just drop the tank and take it out....make sure you have a spanner wrench though to take the big plastic nut that holds the pump into the tank. I had to go to a jeep dealer to find one...they let me use it right there for free ( I took the tank with me)

only took me a couple hours by myself not including the search for the spanner wrench
