fuel or electrical? HELP!

I might put in three minutes before I change out of my slippers, to check a for a bad CPS. I suppose if the cts or iat sensor wires were shorted they might send a signal it's hot, needs less fuel. Of course as Cruiser points out if the sensors ain't grounded..a guy could end up chasing his tail!

Intermittent problems really suck. If it only did it at heavy work, and about always when "put to task", then fuel flow could be a question. An inlet screen or filter that allows enough flow for most of the time might not allow enough flow for getting it on. Idk. We normally did a flow test back with carbs.
CPS, three minute test with a $5 meter. (on Renix). Why not.....
With that "spare" little wire I have into the cab, I could monitor pump voltage out the rear of the ballast, if I wanted to.
