Fu#$ing water pump.

I was getting there terrible whine that I kept thinking was my power steering pump.

Water pump is leaking. Gotta change it today because the Jeep is our hurricane evac vehicle if the base makes us leave.

Yeah, they always seem to die at the worst times, don't they? Or it could be like my Jeep, and just hand you one problem after another (got that one fixed? oh, here's another for ya!).

The good thing is the XJ's water pump is not bad to replace. Best wishes, and hope you're not in the path of the storm.
