Is it possible to replace a damaged front wheel stud i have found on my 96 without removing everything?

You have to remove the brake caliper and rotor but that's it.

Do you really need to do that for access? I don't have that model, but I thought that one could just hang the old one thru the rotor and hub at the same time with a hammer and maybe a punch if length requires.
I understand removing the rotor for a reinstallation, though.

It's easy enough to remove the caliper and rotor, so I'd do it just to be safe.
If you can get the old stud out without risking bashing the caliper or rotor with your BFH, great - but for the effort of removing two bolts I wouldn't risk damage to the other parts.

If your hubs are questionable, it might make sense just to replace the hub and then you'll get all new studs. It's obviously more work than replacing the stud, but still a pretty easy job.

It will be much cheaper from anywhere that isn't the dealership. You can go to a parts store or a junk yard. Is it really just one that needs to be replaced?
Buy three washers and a standard nut from an hardware store that fit that threading. Install the new lug stud with the washers and nut or buy an extra lug nut to sacrifice by using it to install the lug stud.

^^^ Agree. Any parts store will have them. I got one from Autozone that worked fine - IIRC it was under $5 for the stud.
