front speaker probs

front speaker probs
Have 05 grand cherokee, no navigation, bought wiring harness & connected all wires but front speakers wont work. connected factory deck & they worked then put new deck back in & they worked. About an hour later when i turn new deck on they're out again?!! Any help? noticed the factoty connector is wired diff than wiring kit so do I have to modify anything?
