front skid plate?
my Cherokee has the skid plate under the engine, and i have noticed that the majority of the Cherokees on here do not. do i need this? it looks like just added weight and i think taking it off might make the jeep look higher.

ZOMBIES!
hmmm interesting, I had mine off to do wome work on her, haven't gotten around to putting it back on b/c I lost the bolts... It does look pretty Bad*** w/out it though....
Here's a tip:
If the ZOMBIES start showing up, put the skid on! it will aid you in running them over and not getting stuck all up in your s***...

I would keep it on. All it does is provide some protection when wheeling so why lose that. It wont make your jeep look any higher, it will just show more of the steering components.

Is it stock? Dented? Rusted? If its in decent shape I'll take it. E-mail me your address and a good time and I'll send a friend over to pick it up. Tom Schaefer, motlegna@aol.com.

Just thought id ask this while this thread is up for front skid plates, I just bought a front one off a wrecked police cherokee and since the jy didnt give me the bolts id like to know what the sizes are considering I cant seem to find that information very easily, if anyone knows itd be a big help, id like to get it on before it gets any colder.
