if you were getting movement on the disk then its not your ujoints

its the spindle bearings or the ball joints

Thanks guys for posting so much on this subject. I am about to tackle my ball joints on my '98 cherokee sport. Everything I've seen so far says that I'll have to remove the axle shaft to get to the ball joints, is this true. Also, anyone live near Norman, Oklahoma want to help me do the job, there will be beer and cash!!!
