front leaf spring bolt
me and my dad are puting on my lift, and we have to take off the back leaf springs to put the new ones on. and we ran into a tangle, as always.
the front bolt is somehow not coming out of the frame. the bolt will turn, but the bolt sleeve stays still. any solutions?

not exactly sure if I am understanding this correctly but if the bolt is NOT froze in the bushing sleeve it could be an issue of the leaf pack moving and putting pressure on the bolt keeping it stuck in there at an angle.
try to jack the spring into a position where the bolt is straight and not supporting either the jack pressure or the leaf pack.
if it happens to be totally fused with the bushing sleeve lots of pb blast and the bolt spinning in and out should break it loose.

It's the famous "weld nut" issue. Inside the uni-frame there is a nut welded to it. The bolt gets threaded into that. Your problem, which happens 90% of the time, is the tack weld that holds the nut inside of the frame broke and you are spinning the nut inside the frame.

I think he has already backed it out to the point that it isn't in the threads of that bolt welded to the frame. I had to use a crowbar to push the bolt out of it's sleeve. Just rust and crud seizing it. As long as you aren't threaded into anything it's just going to take some PB blaster & brute force to pull it out.

this happend to me as well, the bolt is not frozen so cut the inside that you've so delicately marked "moving bolt," then use a bolt retractor to get the short stub out.
