Default Front hubs causing squealing?

Can bad wheel bearings in the hubs cause squealing during braking?

Im sure you have already checked but if not are you sure it's not just your pads that are getting too low? If it was your bearings I would think it would be a constant noise especially when you turn opposite of the bad bearing side.

Yeah these are pretty much brand new ceramic pads. There is a slight sounds from the right wheel when i drive next to a curb. thats when i hear it the most. but its really faint.

did the noise start when you put the pads on? bad wheel bearings Will mostly make a rumbling vibration sounds when loaded, turning left to right while driving 40+ mph will make a wheel bearings more noticeable.

When i bought the jeep, the first time i had it out a wheel caliper froze up on me during braking, so i replaced everything, pads, rotors and calipers. Then i noticed squealing and changed pads 4 times, now i am up to the high dollar ceramics. about 2 months ago i noticed some rumbling/vibration/grinding during slow movement when i moved it for the first time of the day. So for only the first couple feet after started the jeep for the day, i would turn and feel it. That has gone away. I thought at the time it was just a u joint going out. Like i said it went away and i have actually forgot about that since it went away. I am not sure if that would be the current cause to my issue bc it was squealing prior to the noise.
Lately if i have the windows down, and running close to a curb (redirects the noise). i hear a slight noise from the right side. squeking and it is consistent with the wheel speed. I just cant tell if its consistent with the speed of the axle or rotor.

Ceramic pads are known to have noise issues, but only under braking. If the noise is happening when the brakes aren't applied, then it's most likely a hub assembly going bad. If the bearings are bad, you'll usually get a click or grinding noise, much like a bad u-joint. The "squeal" is most likely due to the hub itself being bad. The bearings may be fine, but unfortunately, with our XJ's, we have to buy the whole assembly in order to replace one bad part.

Good info, Thanks
Now a slight update to make me think diffrent. On the way to the BX a couple minutes ago, i rode the brakes for a good 1/2 mile to mile. I got them really hot. Then went to stop and no squeal. could it be the rotor since i have changed out multiple pads? I am just trying to go the cheapest route before getting new hubs
Thanks

It's possible. Check the rotors for any deep grooves or for a difinite lip on the outer edge. If they're not too worn, you could get them machined for pretty cheap. Most auto parts stores can machine rotors.

I had the current ones turned a little while back and the squeal went away for about the first 4 stops. Then came back. Maybe i just bought a set of bad rotors. they were from AA, i may pick up a pair from Orielly's this week and try the out.
Thanks for all the help

So heres an update,
I bought some new rotors from O'reillys and they where noticeably different. Can't really explain it. So i took the old rotors off and noticed on the splash guard some small gouges in the metal. Turns out, the inside (not where the pad contacts the rotor surface) of the rotor was scrapping the splash guard. This could not have been seen unless the rotor was removed. That has been done plenty of times before, but i guess this was the first time i had noticed it. i put the new rotors on last friday and haven't had one squeal yet.

I was doing some research yesterday still and found this

Wish AA and I would have known this year ago when they started squalling after i replaced everything.
Thanks again for all the assistance
