Front End Tech
i am wondering how much troubke it would be to swap out a 2wd front end to a 4wd or would it be better to set it up with a prerunner setup up with a locker. i have the 4.0 with the auto tranny not sure with one but i know where another jeep w a blown motor.

If you have a donor jeep with the front axle,xfer case drivshafts,it is easy,takes some work but very dooable. You would want to make sure your ratio is the same as the donor,I would also use the other trany if it is good.

i thought it would since they both look the same my only other question is will the computer matter. i am alos thinkin about a dodge ram 1500 4wd setup only prob is the motor to tranny but i think someone makes adapter plates but dunno. what do you think about that>

welll i know the pumpkin is on the same side as the xj and its uses the same setup in the front i figured if it got to drastic i might as well go 3/4ton and you would prollly have to cut and move the mounts but im not sure. just something to think about i guess... not quite sure yet what i wanna do.. just gettin some ideas...
