2000 jeep cherokee 4" lift, 31 9x5 Front end is making a lot of popping and grinding at low speeds. Coming from driver side front. It feels like there's is resistance in the forward movement when the noises happen. Also brake light comes on periodically when breaking and the noise is occurring. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
And brake pedal sticks to the floor Brake light and brake pedal going to the floor only occur when the noises are occurring and while turning the wheel. Going forward and reserve in the driveway with NO turn of the wheel the brakes are fine and very little noise.
Also found these grooves in the knuckle where the caliper sits

Wheel bearing is bad possibly? Otherwise I'd inspect/bleed the brakes and check for a bad u-joint..

I'm gonna suggest you've got a broken/loose caliper or caliper bracket.

Lifted front end up and you can shake the tire back and forth so I'm gonna say wheel bearing as well. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Also check your axle nut make sure it's tight. I had wobbly wheel too and it was the axle nut.

Yep, wheel bearing. Same thing happened to me. Advice for anyone this happens to... DON'T try to limp it along very far. A bearing that far gone will get much worse VERY quickly and could fail catastrophically on the road.

X2. I drove it about a mile and it was all over the road. Luckily I was on a slow road with little traffic
