Default front end nocking noise

i have a 3 inch rustys and 31's. i was driving down a fairly bumpy road and and when i got home my t.f plate guard thing was almost gone, literally hanging by a thread. so after i fixed that i went to make a right turn and i hear a knocking noise. now it knocks on bumpy roads and when i make right turns but it only knocks once when i make right turns. i believe the sound is coming from the front left portion of my heep.

any ideas?
help.

I would love to help you, Bro...but, I need more information. What is a T.F plate guard thing? You'll have to give me the english translation for that. I this plate thing is what was loose before, are you sure it didn't come loose again.

A knock noise on a bumpy road or in turns could be pretty much anythignin the front end. Inspect and re-torque everything in your front suspension I.E. upper and lower control arms (axle and frame mounts), track bar upper and lower mounting points, sway bar and sway bar links, Also check you balljoints for play, check your steering linkage (tie rod ends and draglink). Heck, even check your wheel lug nuts for proper tightness.

not sure what the transfer case plate is, but look at all the suspension parts up front.
don't forget to look at the shocks. sometimes the top nuts and/or bushings become loose.
