So i was under my 92 and i noticed theres a TON of backlash in the front. I can turn my driveshaft a good amount before the gears mesh together. Doesnt make any noises but it just seemed excessive to me. Now i did notice a bit of up and down play in the yoke, im thinking bad pinion bearings. Im going to replace the inner and outers this week but was wondering if you think maybe that could be the cause of the excessive backlash?
