front driveshaft question.
I have a horrible squeak coming from my front driveshaft. It's coming from the transferre case area. I think its that ball that the two you joints attach to. How is that lubed? I would have searched but I'm laying under my jeep right now posting this from my phone.

there is a needle like fitting that fits in the tip of the grease gun, almost looks like a needle to fill a football/basket ball with but sorta bent shaped

it's between the two u joins... the ball that is. if that is what you were asking about. as far as a way to get the grease into it without taking apart...i see none.

my 96 s10 xtended cab had it in the drive shaft and when i work at a chevy dealership all the other techs called them a constant velocity joint. there is a pin hole on one side to push the tip into or the easiest when you replace the u-joints i used to put a big blob of heavy duty axles grease in the pocket cause you can access everything when the u-joints are out.
