Default front driveshaft balance

I removed my front driveshaft a few months back doing a clutch job and left it off until recently. I painted the connection to the diff. to determine which way it goes back on but neglected to paint the transfer case end. recently put it back on and seem to be getting some vibrations currently and wondering if it matters which way it goes on the transfer case end.

Thanks.

You could try reversing it, but I've never noticed it to matter.

It shouldn't matter. I've never marked a driveshaft to put it back in exactly how it came out, always just stuck it back up there however. And I've never had any vibration from any of my driveshafts. Are you sure the vibration is coming from the shaft?
