Default Front Diff question
I have a complete Dana 30 front diff I removed from an 86 XJ. Just today I was tinkering around and spun the yoke by hand. The diff has tires on it and I'm guessing since its stock, that its an open diff. Is it normal that I can spin the yoke by hand with the tires contacting the ground? This diff DOES have vacuum disco...which I plan on performing the mod on.

The axle is disconnected letting the R&P turn and letting the spider gears do their thing.
