Default front control arms

curious to see if anyone else has had this problem .98 xj with a 4.5 RC lift kit with new front lower control arms the uppers are stock the lower bushing lasted about a year after waiting 4-5 months for the vendor get a set in stock ( excuse was stuck at the border, waiting for a big enough order ,wrong size etc.etc,) swap the bushing no problem. the passenger side of the front axle was about 1/2 inch forward to reinstall the control arm bolt then I looked up and saw the upper mount was broken in two it looks like it cut about 1 inch above the axle the break is not too jagged and straight. bad bushings = axle movement = broken parts. any one else have the top mount break and or weld it together looking for ideas thanks from eastern canada

some pics would help a lot at this point.... though well explained a pic could help bring out some of the more experienced RC lift buyers..... i had stock arms on my old 96 XJ (RC 4.5 like yours) and beat it down into a mud hole and ripped half the lower bracket off the axle from a very nasty Hole!!..... mine was welded back on though..... the upper mount ugh again pics

upper mount has very little to do with any lift that you have on your rig. the stamped metal is weak there. I've seen them broken on stock rigs.
