Default Front bumper questions

Hey guys, I have 2000 XJ wich is in need of replacing the factory front bumper. my question is, will any xj front bumper fit on mine? Or do I have to stick within the 97-01 style? looking for a direct bolt on, no fabing

I can get a direct replacement for only 150, but if the older models will fit mine then I can get one from the JY for only 50,

thanks

Any model XJ bumper should bolt right up. Just use the mounts off the pre-97 and it will bolt right up

Like NorCalJeep said.
The bumpers are the same it's the mounting brackets that are different.

Not all bumpers are the same.

I just had this situation.
The 96XJ I got parts from had a different front bumper then my 99XJ.
The 96 has two front mount bolts and two bottom mount bolts.
My 99 has two top mount bolts and two bottom mount bolts.
And the brackets are different too. take a look in my thread, I have some pictures.

That's all in the works, just need it to pass a safety inspection first then the aftermarket parts come
