cool, thanks
other question: do the front drive parts move when 2x4 ? obviously the shafts move with wheel .. anything else?
just curious because fluid in diff was way low when I bought it, couldnt feel any sticking finger in the fill-hole, I mean sticking it IN as far as possible. I topped it off though .. not sure how many miles it was used like that
took approx a quart to fill .. will be looking for any leaks in AM. U-joints are about to get swapped too, curious on condition of axle shafts
hopin Im not in for severe damage being so dry in there

You won't feel it by sticking your finger in the hole the front diff only takes a quart to 1.25 qts I can remember the exact spec. But filling it till it comes out the hole is too much and you will blow seals that way.

front 3.125 US Pints / 1.5L
rear 2.5 US pints / 1.2L
I definatly had my finger at least an inch in, couldnt feel a drop.
but will back some out in AM to be safe, if no leaks found

All ya need to do is send a letter or email to your local Jeep dealer with your VIN. Ask them to send you the build sheet for your VIN.
This way you KNOW what you have unless any of the POs have changed anything.
