I just replaced my front windshield and had a shop do it, the trim they put on is not the same trim as stock and it doesn't seem that it fits right. The top and sides of the trim are snug, but the bottom has a gap that looks like it will allow water to just pool there. Ive attached pictures to show what I mean.
My concern is that this will allow rust to form in the crevice between the rubber seal and the metal there. Am I overthinking this or is that how the factory seal was too?

New windshield trim upon closer inspection you can see it has a little bit of gap on the bottom See how I can just push this lip back a little to reveal a cavity underneath where it looks like water will just sit.
