Default Fried C101 connector!!

Hey Guys, So i ahve been breaking my head tryin to get my ignition system to start my jeep. I have been arcing my starter( or something like that)just to get it started kinda of annoying. I was checking out Cruiser 54 renix tips and went to refresh my c101 connector and saw it was fried! (pics Below) Am I jumping to conclusions to think this is the problem? At this point if i am going to fix this should i get rid of it altogether ?

You should eliminate it. A couple weeks ago I followed Crusiers instructions to eliminate it and it went well. It took me an hour or so to do..

What you see there is not a fried connector but age old dielectric grease. The connector should be eliminated nonetheless.

Yeah. As I took it apart I realized it wasn't fried. Still happy I got rid of it. Would of been really happy if it solved my problem. No biggie now I have excuse to install a cool push button.
