Default freezing inside no heat!

I did a lot of search but can't find the problem. I have 2000 cherokee with very little heat when it's fully turned on. I flushed the heater core and didn't find the heater control valve. Does this year have a valve?
I would appreciate any input
Thanks

They all have a heater control valve,it is located on the passenger side against the firewall. just follow hoses from water pump to valve.
2000 xjs do not have a heater contril valve,my mistake, water flows all the time and the blend door control temp.

Default blend door function?

I looked into replacing the blend door, but I'm bit scared of playing with the air bag systems. The blend door does it control the vents, how does it work?

the blend door works by actually blending outside air with heated air.

Before changing the heater core, make sure it is not flowing by removing the hoses and flowing water through it. If it passes, check for other issues. T-stat stuck open would be my first choice.

If it does need replacing, plan on a whole day to remove the dash to get it out. It is not a fun job.

Blend door issues are usually vacuum related. Check for vacuum leaks.
